Iszabella L'Janan
www.newworldgypsy.com
Iszabella's joy of
dance movement is evident in her fusion of tribal bellydance, Turkish
Romany, and various folkloric styles. Fusion but not confusion;
American Vintage Bellydance roots occasionally make an appearance.
An experienced Renaissance Performer, Iszabella can be found dancing to
live musicians using a variety of props including veil, cane,
fane, daggers, veilfans, candle trays, fire fans, and a variety of
different swords especially scimitars and fire sword.
Using
zills and skirt, improvisational dancing to live drumming, the true
dancer will never stop or grow tired.

Hercules Invictus
Hercules was raised
on the mythic tales of his Greek ancestors and

embraced Olympian
spirituality very early in life. Whereas most little boys in the days
of his youth wanted to be firemen, policemen or soldiers when they grew
up he wanted to be a modern day Hercules.
Hercules has devoted
over 30 years to his professional career in Education and the Human
Services, deeming these the best arenas for righting social
ills. In Pennsylvania his Labors have focused on Family
Literacy and Workforce Development. He also runs numerous
Workshops on a wide range of topics ranging from Personal Marketing to
Ghost Hunting.
His public
explorations of living mythology first began in 1973 and have continued
ever since.
As 'Thor the
Barbarian' he has adventured on fringe cable TV, the hinterlands of UHF
and indie films. NJN has named him the 'Motivational Barbarian' and the
'Human Services Superhero'.
With his wife Athena
(aka Muninn) he branched out into comic strips, e-radio and local
fundraisers for worthy causes.
Together they founded
Hercules Invictus 501(c), a non-profit corporation that promotes
life-long personal development, human empowerment, out-of-the box
thinking, creative self-expression and a dedication of one's unique
talents to community service.
Hercules Invictus also celebrates the Hero's Journey in myth, legend,
spirituality, popular culture and in daily life. Hercules and Athena
also founded the Regional Folklore Society, Mythikos Labyrinthos and
Olympian Starseeds.

Athena Victory
Since pre-school, I
felt drawn to the powerful goddesses of Ancient Greece, especially
Athena and Artemis. The rich pantheon of heroes and gods
resonated with me. These influences lead to a lifelong interest
in mythology and polytheism.

I
believe that humans should define themselves as heroes and do their
utmost to make this world better place for all its creatures. There is
so much to learn and experience in this magickal world! We walk a
path both spiritual and physical. As we interact with our
environment, we touch hidden depths within ourselves. As a
teacher, I like to show others how to find the Divine within themselves.
I usually describe myself as a mental magpie because my restless
intellect bounces all over the place looking for shiny bits of
knowledge and lore. A few years back, I created Sabertooth's
Pride, an eclectic collection of paleontology, feline spirituality, cat
mythology, and cats in popular culture. I'm always cross
referencing and researching something!
I've presented
various workshops and art classes at the Hawley Public Library and for
Wallenpaupack Adult Community Education. Some of my past
workshops have been Goddess Power, Practical Magic, The Many Faces
of Dracula, Bat Fest, and Prehistoric Cats.
In this life, I considered myself blessed with my husband, children,
and friends. Hercules Invictus (our 501(c)) has been an endless
opportunity to explore and define my spirituality and re-discover
myself. I look forward to sharing my journey through our
workshops.
Christopher
Wright
Being
a father, Christopher understands the challenge of keeping children
occupied at camping events. Table games are a way for children to relax
and connect with their parents in a fun way.
Christopher has spent 15 years active in the Society for Creative
Anachronisms, where he developed a love of period board games and
period dance. He has enjoyed teaching both to groups of all sizes and
ages .
Christopher has been on an eclectic spiritual journey for more than 2
decades. It's been a wonderful path, leading him to the study of many
different philosophies and beliefs, each one opening a door to another.
He sees religion as a walk along an endless beach, picking up shells as
we go along and finding joy and wonder in the unique Beauty of each.
The Fall Frolic Staff
would like to thank all of our great presenters this year for coming
out and making it another wonderful year!
